CHF345.00

Lagrein is the most characteristic and prized grape variety in South Tyrol.
It is a full-bodied, fruity, warm, harmonious wine with powerful tannins, tamed by long aging in barrels.
The origin of Lagrein is to be found in France, in Burgundy, in fact Lagrein, according to the latest research, derives from Pinot Noir.
In 1379, Lagrein is mentioned in commercial documents, although it has always been the wine of the tables of the powerful, nobles and ecclesiastics, reserved for a select few.
The bouquet: it is wide, spicy, with hints of raspberry, cocoa. Persistence and intensity are of a good standard.
On the palate our Lagrein is tannic but light, structured, fresh and envelops the whole mouth.
