Ingredients for 4 people
800 g beef
5 onions
200 ml red wine
1 teaspoon red chili
25 g flour
The zest of a lemon
1 sprig of rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 branch of marjoram
30 ml olive oil
30 g tomato paste
Salt and pepper
Place chopped onions in a frying pan with oil and meat cut into small cubes
Fry for a few minutes
Dilute the flour and chili in a little bit water and pour this mixture over the meat
Sprinkle the meat with red wine, let it evaporate
Add aromatic herbs, grated lemon zest and tomato paste
Mix, lengthen with a glass of water and cook covered for 2 hours.
Polenta, potatoes or dumplings are the perfect accompaniment to this plate
